A Visit to Augusta

I kept entering the lottery for tickets, then bang....

I received an email that I had won four tickets to the Wednesday Par 3 tournament while getting on an elevator at work heading out to lunch. None of my co-workers that were with me were that into golf so my celebration was a quick, solo one.

I went to this tournament expected to further my education on the game of golf, but left the grounds with a different perspective on life. I'll explain

1. Digital can be a life disruptor if you let it. You see, my tickets clearly stated that being caught with a phone could lead to life expulsion.

Getting to know people for who they are, rather than what they do.

2. Looking down prevents you from looking up. The grounds are majestic and I found that my smartphone was in front of me with the amazing scenery.

3. Having a smartphone sometimes makes you dumb. AT&T free phones to call anywhere. How many phone numbers do you have memorized? I called my mom and wife. Neither shared my excitement on a Wednesday at 7AM.
